Father's Day

To be with my beautiful daughters together with their terrific Dad on Father's Day was a gift.

This year we celebrated Stu by meeting Kels and Em in Victoria at Kelsie's great new bach pad.

Together they had planned and made a delicious picnic lunch which we all shared in East Sooke before a beautiful hike along the ocean. Everyone was happy....funny....and really excited to be with one another.

A Dad, together with his beloved girls is magical.

I am very grateful for my husband and children.

Flying Dragons 2010

Recently I have joined a dragon boat team. Approximately 22 incredible women paddle each Wednesday and Saturday for an hour and a half. These women range from about 45 yrs old to well into the 70's. I was immediately welcomed and shown how to do this so called dragon boat paddling. It was instant love for me as I lost myself during the practice sessions. It seemed to be all about focusing and the worries of the day...the week or even the year just melted away. Being out on the water in the Comox Harbour is beautiful. Being with such wonderful women is a gift.

Unfortunately during one practice I fractured a rib which prevented me from further practices for about one month. I'm back at it now and although taking it very easy on the right side...so far so good. Our team raced this past w/e and although I didn't race with the team due to "the rib", I managed to capture some highlights of the day

Easter 2010 in NYC

This Easter I was blessed with a great trip to NYC with a very dear friend of mine!

Thank-you Leslie for such a well planned out adventure from start to finish.

The walks, the sights, the smells and the photo opportunities. Best of all was the great friendship and fabulous travel partner.

Xmas 09

Xmas 2009....was one for just our little family of four. It was a time for the simple pleasures in life! Those pleasures for our family were just being together. Sadly Emily wasn't included in some of the farm photos as she was under the weather with a nasty cold.....but we managed a couple of her by the tree!
