One memory that sticks out in my mind of my sister is her in her beloved kayak....I always loved hearing the stories of her trips and of the places that she had paddled to.

One of my favorite kids!

Very soon now we will get to see one of our favorite kids! His name is Colin!! It's so much fun doing things when we're together....like tubing down the Puntledge River or just hanging out with little Oz!

Thunder,Lightening,Turbans and Chai

Recently Stu and I were invited to a superb party in Deep Cove with an Indian theme. It was such a great way to celebrate the Indian culture and the Thomas' went all out.

Tables were dressed in gorgeous Indian fabric.....centre pieces filled with beautifully arranged roses. A chai tea house was waiting for guests to sit in the comfy chairs while enjoying their tea to candle light. Guests were dressed in beautiful saris, salwar suits and other Indian styled outfits.

Just as the final guests were arriving thunder struck, lightening flashed and the skies opened up.

We all commented that we hadn't seen anything like this for many years. The great party went on, but only after we dashed around to rescue as much as we could before the rain.

Whidbey Island

Recently I had the absolute pleasure of heading off to Whidbey Island on a photography course with a great friend. We learned and learned and then learned some more from our wonderful instructor Jan who provided us with both inspiration as well as some new skills.

LT...who is a dear friend of mine has asked me at least eight million times to start a new photo blog.

Although this is very new for me....I'm going to give this a whirl.
